STOP SMILING STOREFRONT: CHICAGO, IL.
The Stop Smiling offices are located in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. In the front half of the ground floor is a multi-purpose storefront where we've hosted author interviews (Studs Terkel, Aleksandar Hemon); live performances (Super Furry Animals, Fred Anderson); after-parties (DJ Shadow, National Public Radio); and more.
The majority of our literary events are recorded live for broadcast on Chicago's NPR affiliate (WBEZ).
